Their story
Zoya and Rehan wanted a celebration that felt like the old Hyderabad of their grandparents' stories: unhurried, elegant and generous.
Manjha and mehendi
The manjha was a sea of yellow and green, with the family's own dholak songs, and the mehendi evening ran late into the night with a live ghazal singer.
The nikah
We worked with the qazi and both families on every detail of a candlelit nikah in the palace garden, with seating arranged the way both families preferred, a quiet room for the elders, and attar and rose petals for every guest at the entrance.
The walima
The walima brought 500 guests together for a qawwali under the stars and a dinner of marag, kachchi biryani and qubani ka meetha prepared by the family's own khansama.
Everything was graceful, from the invitations to the last cup of chai. Our families felt cared for at every step.
